This custom-made Dropper Post Adapter allows Backcountry Saddle Packs to be used on mountain bike dropper seatposts. The adapter is designed to hold the pack securely, while also limiting travel to avoid damage to either the post or the bag. Comes with a choice of shims for dropper posts with 30.9mm, 31.6mm and 34.9mm lower diameters and is easily fitted using a 3mm hex wrench. To keep your Avid brakes functioning properly, check your pads for wear and replace them when necessary. Organic compound pads are softer for quieter braking and increased modulation, while metallic pads dissipate heat better and last a bit longer. Two pads, one retraction spring and a mounting bolt are included (enough for one brake) in each pad set. And, choose an aluminum backing plate if you're really counting the grams.

Our Box Four tier is for those people who just want less fuss! You're fond of Prime 9, but know 8 is enough, and surely 11-42T is plenty of range for an 8-speed cassette. Our derailleur still has the Limited Slip clutch but now arrives with a more compact cage. The custom 8-speed chain is built for abuse, although it's sophisticated enough to have its own Wide/narrow chainring. Push through fewer gears with a no-nonsense shifter.
