The ultimate one bike quiver just got bigger We’ve taken the unparalleled suspension action, gloriously sleek design and sweet spot geometry of the Highlander, slackened it slightly and switched it up to 150mm of smooth, responsive travel. The Highlander 140 is designed to be the world’s most capable do it all trail bike, as happy on all-day back-country epics as carving turns at the bike park. The Highlander 150 shifts the focus a little – with that extra 10mm of travel and subtle geometry tweaks, it’s rowdier, with more of a descent focus, and can take the big stuff a little harder - whilst still being a great all round machine. The Highlander 150 doesn't just have more travel - the head angle is kicked back to 65 degrees for a little more high-speed stability and confidence when the going gets super steep. Additionally, the suspension leverage curve is more progressive which lends the Highlander 150 to coil or high volume air shocks. High Pivot Point Deviate’s high pivot point, and the careful idler placement, mean the suspension performance on the Highlander is the best of all possible worlds. The rearward axle path lets the bike flow over rough terrain, and as the idler location controls anti-squat, the Highlander has negligible pedal kickback and a deliberate anti-squat curve which eliminates pedal induced suspension bob. The unique kinematics of a high pivot point design maintains chassis stability and geometry under heavy braking, meaning aggressive riding is rewarded. One bike - two flavours Take the Highlander 140 for a nimble, trail-carving fun machine which still has the chops for some spicy stuff - or opt for the Highlander 150 for a bigger hitting rig, at home on the most technical of enduro tracks - but still makes you smile on the ups. Anyone who already owns a Highlander 140 can change it up to a Highlander 150 and vice-versa by simply swapping out the rocker link - making the world’s most capable trail bike even more versatile. The Highlander 150 is still running 29” wheels and retains the Highlander's signature balance of stability and playfulness.

The Claymore was a medieval Scottish two-handed great sword. Extremely long - typically the blade was over 140cm in length - the Claymore was more than merely a sword: it was a symbol of strength and martial prowess, and an unmistakable link to the rugged Scottish Highlands for whoever bore it. Deviate’s Claymore is the same, born in the rocks and roots of the Scottish Highlands, and the weapon of choice for the most brutal terrain anywhere in the world. Whether you get your kicks from plummeting down the nastiest, root strewn drops, or hurtling between the tapes so fast things get blurry around the edges, the Claymore is the bike for you. Speed without sacrifice We wanted the Claymore to be the best handling, long-travel enduro bike out there - and we think we’ve succeeded. It’s the perfect combination of blindingly fast on the straights, slot-car accurate in the corners and capable of mixing it up with trail bikes on the ups. The design brief was to create an enduro bike capable of winning on the toughest of enduro stages, with pedal performance to match a trail bike and an element of playfulness for those days when you’re not between the tape. High Pivot Point To achieve this seemingly impossible brief, we once again turned to a high pivot point suspension system. The key feature of a high pivot suspension system, is its unique ability - thanks to the rearward axle path - to smooth out the nastiest of trails, and to stabilise the bike when it’s deep in the suspension stroke. Couple this with a precisely placed chain idler to minimise suspension-induced kickback and control anti-squat (aka pedal induced bob), and you have a pretty magical suspension system. Deviate has been designing high pivot point bikes since 2016 - flying the flag of what back then was a niche trend in suspension design. Forward to 2022 and it flatters us to see so many high pivot bikes achieving success at the highest level. Our extensive experience designing nothing but high pivots means we can confidently claim that our system is the most robust and well engineered out there. Geometry We designed the Claymore to be confidence inspiring no matter what the terrain. The unique kinematics of a high pivot point design maintains chassis stability and geometry under heavy braking. This allows our designers to achieve stability and straight line speed while maintaining sensible geometry. Of course, the head-angle is slack, the reach is long and we’ve also made the Claymore’s seat tube steep, to help with climbing. But it’s not too steep; not too slack; not too long. Not every enduro track or secret trail is the same, so we’ve designed the Claymore to hit the sweet spot where flat-out stability and snake-like agility meet. If you like to make the world a blur between the tapes on a flat out alpine enduro track, or if the steepest, gnarliest tightest terrain is more your thing, this is the bike for you. Features Available in Rowan Red or Moss Green Silent 18t chain idler with twin outboard sealed bearings High quality Enduro bearings throughout Twin lip wiper seals throughout Grease ports - fitted to all pivot and idler bearings in the name of riding all winter Frame protection - bolt-on carbon downtube protector; bonded rubber chainstay protector Cable gutter - clean lines and easy maintenance 2.6” tyre clearance Boost 148 Threaded BB Water bottle compatible Accessory mounting points 126 link chain - commonly available - no need to join chains

This is the Highlander II - Deviate’s all-carbon, all-conquering trail bike, freshly reconfigured for 2023. A bike for bike park laps, all day rides, messing about in the woods and everything in between. A bike for reaching the highest, most remote peaks, before screaming down the other side in a stream of speed and laughter. If the Claymore is a huge broadsword, then the Highlander II is a rapier – lighter, perhaps; more agile – but just as deadly in the right hands. It punches far, far above its weight. Carefully considered geometry suits the most discerning of riders, and 145mm of high-pivot travel will get you out of anything you get yourself into, with astounding performance that matches bikes with far more suspension travel. We’ve taken what we think is the best high-pivot trail bike on the market, and made it even better. A 65-degree head angle with a 160mm fork is steep enough to be nimble in the sketchiest of woody descents, but slack enough for stability when you break out of the trees into a steep, warp-factor-nine trail. The reach is perfect for comfort when climbing, and roomy enough for flat out descending with ultimate control. Standover is enormous, and the continuous seat tube accommodates the longest dropper posts on the market. The Highlander II is also available in 4 sizes, from Small to X-Large, to suit a wide range of riders. The Highlander II is paired with a specially tuned Öhlins TTX2Air shock for class-leading, bump-eating performance and pedalling efficiency.

The Highlander 140, conceived and tested in the wild Highlands of Scotland, is an all-conquering warrior of a bike. Designed from the ground-up with the sole focus of creating the world's most capable trail bike. The Highlander 140 is as happy on all-day back-country epics as carving turns at the bike park. The all-carbon Highlander 140 boasts 140mm of rear travel, 29" wheels, balanced geometry and a progressive leverage curve. Thanks to the high pivot point suspension design - the 140mm of rear travel has descending capabilities, especially when pushed hard, that rival bikes with far more rear travel. The all-rounder nature of the Highlander 140 is carried forward with the balanced geometry, plenty of stand-over and the ability to run a super-long dropper defines the Highlander’s character as playful, composed, and most importantly, a confidence inspiring trail bike. This is a bike built to put a smile on your face wherever the trail takes you.
